Introducing Riebeek Valley

The Riebeek Valley includes the quaint towns of Riebeek Kasteel, Riebeeksrivier, Riebeek West and Hermon. The valley lies on the slopes of the Kasteelberg mountain and is framed by wheat fields, vineyards, fruit orchards and olive groves.

The Riebeek Valley can be found just an hour's drive from Cape Town and locals often travel here for the peace and quiet of this rural area. This collection of small towns provides an array of accommodation options, places to eat and drink, boutique stores, wine estates, olive farms and farmers' markets for guests to enjoy.

The Riebeek Valley also hosts a number of popular festivals including the Olive Festival in May, the Shiraz and Arts Festival in October and the MedFest in March. The Riebeek Valley provides the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding West Coast beaches, the mountain range, world renowned wine farms and the Karoo.
