The Dullstroom is home to the highest railway station in South Africa which is located at 2,077 meters above sea level.  It is also in Dullstroom where the foot of De Berg is located which is highest point in the Mpumalanga Province at 2,332 meters high. The South African town of Dullstroom was established in 1883 by Dutchman Wolterus Dull to settle Dutch immigrants.
