The Boma
This outdoor venue at the Kedar Country Lodge seats 300 guests and has proved to be most popular for more easy-going functions and weddings. It offers a unique entrance which is set amongst the large indigenous trees as well as a central fire with a dedicated outdoor cooking area.
Heroes Bar
Offering a full range of imported and local drinks, delicious South African wines and a variety of cocktails, this bar amazes visitors with its detailed and interesting theme based on the Boer War and paying homage to all its heroes.
The Armoury Restaurant
Enjoy true South African cuisine while marvelling at the interesting collection of Anglo Boer War military memorabilia. This restaurant at the Kedar Country Lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days of the week.

Spa Facilities
The spa offers two outdoor therapy decks, a Vichy shower, a circulation shower, a steam, sauna and a private pool area all set in a tranquil and peaceful environment ensuring guests are in a total state of rest and relaxation. There are four double therapy rooms and they all offer a private spa bath, a shower and a garden of natural wetland.

Malaria Status and Animals
The Kedar Country Lodge is situated in a malaria-free area of South Africa. The land around Kedar has been game fenced and is the natural home to a great variety of game, including eland, blesbok, impala, bushbuck, nyala, kudu, zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe, sable as well as two endangered pygmy hippos.
Children Policy
- Children are welcome at the Kedar Lodge and children under the age of four years old stay free of charge when using a cot/crib or extra bed.
- Only one extra bed/cot can be accommodated in a room. Children aged between five to eleven years of age will pay 50% of the room stay per night when using existing beds, while older children will pay 100% of the room stay per night.
Social Responsibility
The Recreation Africa group, to which the Kedar Country Hotel belongs to, supports a number of projects and has a strong belief in preserving the country’s history. They are custodians of the Kruger House museum and have invested a significant amount of money on the restoration and maintenance of this incredible piece of history.

Directions
Directions to the Kedar Country Lodge, Conference Centre & Spa, Rustenburg:
Travel through the tollgate towards Rustenburg.
Continue on the NEW toll road passing the following road signs: Rustenburg; Rustenburg / Helen Joseph Drive; Rustenburg Kloof.
You can also follow the sign boards that point to the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace.
The next board reads R565 SUN CITY, turn LEFT (off ramp).
From the R565 off ramp ensure that you turn right at the T-Junction and go over the N4 highway.
Proceed straight at the four way stop street, which is the NEW ROAD extension of the R565.
At the traffic circle turn left.
To your right is Phokeng, left is towards Sun City.
