Kedar Heritage Lodge is an ideal country getaway. This country retreat is on a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, land formerly owned by ex-President Paul Kruger.

The Kedar Lodge is 21 kilometres from Sun City. This country estate features the natural landscape as its backdrop yet it offers sophisticated facilities such as African-inspired health and beauty spa, a restaurant offering delicious South African cuisine and 24-hour room service as well as free WiFi in all areas.

Wild animals roam the area around the Kedar lodge freely, the safety of the guests is protected by fencing. Game found includes eland, blesbok, impala, bushbuck, nyala, kudu, zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe, and sable, making this lodge the perfect destination for wildlife and nature enthusiasts. There are also up-to-date conference facilities and a popular wedding venue, catering for up to 100 guests.

Sixty-five comfortable African-themed rooms, made from rustic stone and thatch, are available at the lodge where leisure guests, families and conference delegates are accommodated in comfort.

Leisure activities which are on offer include volleyball, fishing, and hiking as well as access to the estate's outdoor swimming pool. For a more cultural-type-activity, guests may enjoy a visit to the Paul Kruger Museum.

The spa offers two outdoor therapy decks, a Vichy shower, a circulation shower, steam, sauna and a private pool area all set in a tranquil and peaceful environment ensuring guests are in a total state of rest. There are four double therapy rooms, and they all offer a private spa bath, a shower and a garden of a natural wetland.
