Four of the suites at the Elephant Hide Knysna Guest Lodge feature beautiful views onto the Knysna lagoon. The other suites at the Lodge provide lagoon views and are embedded in indigenous fynbos surroundings attracting numerous bird species. Guests staying at the lodge are invited to enjoy a relaxing spa-bath while gazing into infinity. All the suites at the Knysna Guest Lodge feature double showers with views and are private.

The family suite at the Knysna Guest Lodge is attached to the main lodge. It is equipped with a separate dressing room and a large private deck over looking the lagoon. The children's room of the family suite is situated at the back of the unit and features a sony play station/DVD player. Baby sitting services and camp cots are available on request.

Directions to the Elephant Hide of Knysna Guest Lodge

From George:

Follow the N2 towards Knysna, drive over the Knysna River Bridge (White Bridge) until 3km before Knysna town itself. You will encounter a turnoff called Welbedacht Lane to your left.

From Port Elizabeth:

Drive through Knysna Town staying on the N2. The last set of traffic lights at the end of town is a T Junction with the railway line and lagoon on your left hand side. Drive straight on along the lagoon front and past the craft market on your left. 50m after the craft market is a sign to the right called Welbedacht Lane.

From Welbedacht Lane:

Turn left into Welbedacht Lane and continue straight along this road until you get to a turn off on the left hand side called Cherry Lane. (It is the first street left).  Turn left into Cherry Lane and continue up the road to a T junction. At the T junction you will see a sign that says "Elephant Hide Lodge". Follow the sign left until you encounter another sign 20m past the first sign, pointing right. Go straight up this road and you will drive into the lodge.

The lodge is sign-posted in Welbedacht Lane on large green boards and in Cherry Lane on brown pointer boards.
