De Mond Nature Reserve is a pristine, unspoilt river mouth less than 20 minutes drive away. De Hoop Nature Reserve is nearby and with all its wildlife, is definitely worth a visit. The magnificent Cape Agulhas National Park is an ideal day trip. It is here where one should visit the lighthouse at the southernmost tip of Africa.
