Vegetation is typical Eastern Cape sweetveld and bush with the landscape and kloofs providing ideal habitat for rare cycads, sneezewoods, yellowoods, Cape milkwoods, white ironwoods, pearthorn and knobthorns to name but a few.

This combination of sweet grassland, thornveld and densely wooded valleys make this Reserve unique and an ideal Game Reserve.  This biosphere is perfect for both browsers and grazers, which allows varied stocking capacity and variety of game.
