Bicycle Durban at Night Beachfront & Stadium Cycle Tour Overview
The Durban at Night Beachfront & Stadium 'Eco-Active' cycle tour starts and ends at the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. From the Southern Sun Elangeni which is perched alongside the Beachfront, the tour makes its way along the Golden Mile, visiting the mouth of the river then heads back to pedal alongside Durban’s famous 2010 Soccer World Cup stadium.
They make their way along the Golden Mile to Blue Lagoon which is well known for its bird watching and fishing. They visit the famous uShaka Marine World, an ocean aquarium nestled beneath the imposing view of the bluff and the tour weaves its way along a beautiful canal to the entry of the Durban Harbour.
Turning around, cyclists then face Durban's Beachfront skyline as they head towards the Moses Mabhida Stadium. From there they make their way back to the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel where a sumptuous spread of gourmet canapés and superb sparkling South African wine awaits the group on the upper deck.
