Race Tracks - Zwartkops & Kyalami

Zwarkops Raceway

Located a mere 7km from the Velmore Hotel Estate, is the world-renown Zwartkops Raceway.  The Zwartkops Raceway is worldly known for being the largest advanced driver-training centre, as well as the most advanced raceway in Africa. Boasting a vehicle evaluation facility and the only internationally licensed kart circuit in South Africa, this raceway is one of the finest world wide.

There are a variety of international and national events hosted at Zwarkops Raceway such as the world karting championships, international 4X4 motoring championships, WesBank Super Series as well as SA's premier track racing series.

Some championships include SuperBike challenge for production motorcycles, one for Polo Playas, one for V8 Supercars and one for Volkswagens (The Engen Volkswagen Cup).

Kyalami Race Track

This world famous motor racing venue, with its rich national and international heritage, opened its doors in 1960's. Having hosted a collection of international events including the Superbike Series three times, the A1 Grand Prix in 2009, the Kyalami Race Track features 4.2km of track with 11 corners. The Kyalami Race Track is also well used for defensive driving classes by BMW and AUDI for their customers.
