The Lodge is situated in a private nature reserve so guests are able to explore the local bushveld and wildlife at their leisure. Animals found on the reserve include Kudu, Blue Wildebeest, Eland, Red Hartebeest, Springbok, Gemsbok and Zebra, and there’s also extensive birdlife in the area.
There’s a resident expert at the Kloofzicht Lodge who introduces guests to the art of fly-fishing in the surrounding dams and there’s no previous experience or particular strength required.

Get close to the African night sky in the Kloofzicht Lodge's Boma which is an ideal venue for team building and can also be used for special occasions. Guests will feel the heart of Africa during the pulsating drumming session or may simply enjoy the authentic African meals served here. During the cooler winter evenings, guests are provided with warm blankets around the boma fire.
These are all spacious one-level units overlooking the valley and dam. Each Suite offer a fire-place and a small patio. The bathroom has a built-in oval bathtub and an indoor shower that leads onto an outdoor shower and private garden.
The ten Superior Suites are split-level units offering spectacular views of the dam and mountains. The lower level is the lounge with TV and DVD player, fireplace and minibar. It leads out onto small deck with a drop-down blind for privacy. There is a free-standing oval bathtub and shower in the bathroom as well as heated towel rails.
