Directions
Directions from CAPE TOWN via the N1 Highway:
1. Take the N1 northbound towards Paarl.
2. Take the Exit 39 towards Stellenbosch (the exit after the Engen One Stop).
3. Turn right from the exit onto the R304 towards Stellenbosch.
4. Drive for about 15km until you drive into Stellenbosch, to the Adam Tas, Bird Street intersection. (Friendly Grocer/Seven Eleven & Jo Marlin is on your left).
5. At this intersection, turn left towards Paarl/Franschhoek. (Eikestad Mercedes dealership is opposite).
6. At the next traffic light, turn right (R310 to Ida's Valley & Franschhoek). This is the Helshoogte Road.
7. Drive past Ida's Valley (on the left), and "Spar" Centre (on the right). Continue for approximately 6km, you will be leaving town behind and travel to the top of the pass.
8. You will pass Neil Ellis Estate on your left, and about 2km further Delaire Estate is on the right, then Tokara on the left as you reach the top of the pass.
9. About 100m after Tokara, Clouds Estate is on the right hand side opposite Alluvia & Glen Arum.
10. At the gate, press the intercom to Reception.
Directions from N2 and AIRPORT:
1. From Cape Town & the airport, take the N2 to Somerset West.
2. Take the Baden Powell off-ramp (R310)
3. Continue straight on R310 (past Spier) into Stellenbosch.
4. Continue along this road (Adam Tas) through Stellenbosch (railway line on left).
5. Drive until you get to the traffic lights at the Bird Street intersection, (Eikestad Mercedes dealership on right hand side).
6. Cross over the Bird Street traffic light (Friendly Grocer/Seven Eleven & Jo Marlin on your left).
7. At the next traffic light, turn right (R310 to Ida's Valley & Franschhoek). This is the Helshoogte Road.
8. Drive past Ida's Valley (on the left), and "Spar" Centre (on the right). Continue for approximately 6km, you will be leaving town behind and travel to the top of the pass.
