Coming from CAPE TOWN on the N2:
Drive through Knysna town past the Knysna Provincial Hospital until you come to the Caltex Petrol station on your right.
Take the very next right turn onto George Rex Drive, following the signboards to Leisure Isle and the Heads.
Drive for approximately 3.5km (past the Knysna Golf Course on your left) and then take the turn-off for Leisure Isle on your right into Armstrong Road – this is the causeway to the island.
At the four-way stop, you will see a guard hut ahead.
Take the first road on your left (Woodbourne Road).
After 1km Woodbourne Road becomes Cearn Drive, on the bend you will see Amanzi Island Lodge on your left (number 31) which is signposted and has a seahorse statue in the garden.
Coming From PLETTENBERG BAY:
Just before you enter Knysna town take the left turn onto George Rex Drive, following signboards to Leisure Isle and the Heads. (This is just before the Caltex Petrol Station.)
