Chobe Game Safari Day Tour (Botswana) Overview
The Chobe National Park in Botswana is only a 1¾ hour drive from Livingstone, Zambia. The Chobe National Park in Botswana is one of the most significant game reserves in Southern Africa and is home to the largest elephant population in the world.
The Chobe River flows lazily through the Caprivi floodplains and provides a haven for vast herds of buffalo and elephant, zebra, wildebeest and impala which are followed closely by predators including lion, hyena, the elusive leopard and the odd pack of the now rare wild dog. The bird life, in particular, is exceptional.
