Having a private tidal beach on your doorstep allows for many events in itself, but the hotel is also only 500m away from the well known Goerke Haus. Known for being one of the most extravagant mansions built at the turn of the 20th century during the diamond-mining boom. The house was constructed in 1910, on Diamond Hill, and has been restored to its former glory, and open to the public to view. On the southern end of the Luderitz peninsula, is a wild and scenic beach which flocks of flamingos frequent, feeding in the tidal pools, makes a magnificent sightsee.
