Located at the southernmost tip of the island, Villa Martins is a secluded retreat, offering a peaceful and remote environment for an immersive experience. It’s just a short 10-minute boat ridefrom the Machangulo Peninsula and Santa Maria.

Its location is only 80 meters from the beach at high tide, providing the perfect setting to enjoy year-round sightings of flamingos and the iconic dhows of Mozambique.  Inhaca Island lies approximately 34 kilometers east of Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. Part of the Inhaca District, the island is relatively small, measuring about 12 kilometers in length and 7 kilometers in width.

Most visitors reach Inhaca Island via our scheduled boat transfers from Maputo. The boat journey not only offers a convenient mode of transportation but also provides stunning views of the coastline and crystal-clear waters.
