The Tanamera Lodge Hazyview is overlooking the scenic Sabie River Valley in South Africa's Mpumalanga province.

This exclusive and small country Tanamera country retreat provides luxurious chalet accommodation on a bed and dinner basis in the quiet surroundings of Hazyview.

A total of seven thatched chalets each of which can accommodate two guests sharing. The Hazyview River View Chalets overlook the Sabie River Valley from their wooden decks which is complete with a plunge pool while the Forest View Chalets have an open spacious, private patio overlooking the distant hills. The chalets feature en-suite bathrooms with large bathtubs as well as walk-in waterfall showers.

The country retreat offers guests continental and Full English breakfast as well as dinner. Meals are served in the main lodge as well as in the privacy of the chalets. During the warm summer months, dinners and breakfasts are served on the decks of either the main lodge or the cottages. The well-stocked wine cellar offers an exclusive range of wines from South African vineyards.

The delicious breakfast includes a selection of fresh fruit, sliced cold meat cuts, and cheese. Furthermore, cereals together with fruit and plain yoghurt are also available. The English breakfast includes eggs that are served with bacon, sausage, mushroom or tomato. Also, pancakes, flapjacks, muffins and scones and a choice of toasts are on offer. Dinner consists of a three-course table menu with a selection of different starters, main courses, and desserts.

Set on a spur of granite rock which overlooks the Sabie River Gorge, most of the river-facing chalets afford one of the most breathtaking views in the area. The Tanamera country lodge is situated 25 km outside of Sabie. The Kruger National Park Phabeni Gate is about 35 km away, and the Sabie Sand Game Reserve is 90 km away. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) near Nelspruit Airport is 95 km away from the lodge.
