The four-star Shumba Valley Lodge is located only 40 minutes away from Johannesburg and Pretoria and is set 2 km away from the Lanseria Airport on Pelindaba Road (R512), the extension of Malibongwe Drive. 

Shumba Valley is a rural country estate that offers both leisure travellers and conference delegates a great getaway, to enjoy exciting team-building exercises and successful meetings, as well as relaxation.

Set in Gauteng Lanseria and Muldersdrift area, this airport country hotel offers guests close access to the nearby attractions that are worth a visit, including the Lion, Rhino and Crocodile Parks, the Cradle of Humankind, the famous Ngwenya Glass Village and Lesedi Cultural Village, as well as the Wonderboom Caves.

The lodge features a total of 60 thatch-roofed guest rooms, which consist of 20 rondavels and 40 chalets. Rooms with king beds, as well as double and twin beds are available.

The delicious morning breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant or on the welcoming outdoor terrace. Lunch and dinner are offered buffet-style at the lodge. The buffets for conferences vary daily. For individual guests staying at the lodge in Lanseria, an a la carte menu is offered. The bar at Shumba offers a great place to relax and unwind in a casual atmosphere. A snack menu offering light snacks is also available to guests here.

The lodge features four conference venues that vary in sizes and are suitable for different requirements. Besides the standard conference equipment, additional items can be arranged, such as data projectors and slide projectors, at an additional cost.
