Ladybird Boutique Hotel is based on a 40 hectare estate in the Simonsberg ward near Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands of South Africa. The property includes 36 hectares of vineyards cultivated to highlight the character of the region.

Previously known as Laibach Vineyards, the estate was acquired by neighbouring Kanonkop in April 2022 and renamed Ladybird Boutique Hotel. The historic Laibach wine cellar, guest house and organically farmed vineyards remain key features of the location.  The estate produces a range of varietals such as Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

The Restaurant

The restaurant at Ladybird Boutique Hotel is exclusive to in house guests and offers a refined and comfortable atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is complimentary and prepared with attention to detail, providing a relaxed start to the day.

The restaurant opens to the public on Sundays for a set menu designed to showcase seasonal ingredients. It is ideal for slow, shared meals with family or friends, with the option of intimate individual bookings.

Accommodation

The rooms offer a calm and spacious retreat for couples, friends or families. Guests may also book the full property for exclusive stays. Each room includes access to a veranda with views of Table Mountain and the nearby lake.
