Spread throughout the beautiful garden of the Hog Hollow Lodge are the sixteen spacious suites. Reflecting earthy colours to match the natural surroundings, both king and twin beds are available.
Handcrafted artefacts make for a welcoming decor, and a well-stocked bar and music is available in the rooms. The private wooden decks of each room invite for a relaxing time while listening to the beautiful sounds of a lush, forest valley humming with life.
Children of all ages are welcome to stay, and three double story suites are suitable for children aged 12 and under sharing a room with their parents. Babysitting, the first turn down with a glass of fresh milk, a Gingerbread man, children’s stories and a box of toys are available for children.
Due to the location of the Lodge on the edge of the Matjies River Gorge, therefore, are steep drops from balconies and decks. The family rooms at Hog Hollow do have specially designed terraces which are higher with vertical poles. The delicious farmhouse breakfasts are offered on the deck overlooking the mountains and forests, or near the fireplace on cooler days. A sumptuous breakfast buffet with lovely treats awaits guests.

As the day ends, the full splendour of the African stars shines down on the lodge deck making for an excellent setting.
