The 4-star Elephant Hide of Knysna Guest Lodge overlooks the spectacular Knysna Lagoon and the magnificent Outeniqua mountains.

Elephant Hide Knysna is beautifully located on top of the Welbedacht Cliff Tops, which are 3 kilometres from the town of Knysna along South Africa's popular Garden Route. 

The unique design of the lodge with its stone and wooden architecture provides for the natural atmosphere. The rim-flow swimming pool overlooks the Knysna lagoon making for a unique feature.

There is an excellent selection of housing at this venue. There is 6 Suites & 1 Family Unit; The Family Unit accommodates a maximum of 2 adults three children. In the Main Lodge, there is a welcoming fireplace for any chilly nights as well as a library and a comfortable lounge area with a cd player for the guest.

Four of the suites feature beautiful views onto the Knysna lagoon. The other suites at the Lodge provide lake views and are embedded in indigenous fynbos surroundings attracting numerous bird species. Guests staying at the lodge are invited to enjoy a relaxing spa bath while gazing into infinity.

All the suites at the Knysna Guest Lodge feature double showers with views and are private. The family suite at the Knysna Guest Lodge is attached to the main lodge. It is equipped with a separate dressing room and a large private deck overlooking the lagoon. The children's room of the family suite is situated at the back of the unit and features a Sony play station & DVD player. Babysitting services and camp cots are available on request.
