Introducing Waterkloof

Jacaranda-lined streets and large properties characterise the affluent hilltop suburb of Waterkloof.  Waterkloof falls into Pretoria's "old east" and encompasses the smaller 'breakaway' suburbs of Waterkloof Glen, Waterkloof Ridge and Waterkloof Heights.  The area is filled with a number of Victorian and Tuscan-style homes with large, walled gardens.  The presence of several green lungs and treed gardens imbue Waterkloof with a tranquil freshness.

Take a drive along Edward or Victoria Street for beautiful city views from the highest point of Waterkloof or tee off at the Pretoria Country Club. The neighbouring suburbs of Groenkloof and Nieuw Muckleneuk are also worth visiting for Groenkloof Nature reserve and the Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary respectively.

Getting there

From O.R. Tambo International Airport, Waterkloof can be reached via the R21 airport road. At the first traffic lights (Monument Park/Elephant Road) turn right, then left at Monument Park into Skilpad Road.
