Situated in the centre of the lobby at the One & Only Cape Town resort is the magnificent Vista Bar, which as its name suggests, offers incredible panoramic views of Table Mountain. Here, guests can come together to enjoy an à la carte continental breakfast menu, a selection of creative light snacks throughout the day and a spectacular Afternoon Tea with a choice of 35 brews.

In the evening, Vista unveils itself as a sophisticated cocktail lounge serving classic favourites such as the Bloody Mary, Kir Royale, Manhattan, Mojito, Daiquiri, Side Car and Old Fashioned. In keeping with the One&Only spirit of providing a strong sense of place, the beverage menu takes inspiration from the ancient spice routes around the Cape of Good Hope for flavour combinations, whilst a number of rare and vintage spirits will be imported.

Each cocktail is offered in its traditional form as well as with fresh twists, merging the original recipes with modern flavours and local influences. The Manhattan is also served as a smoked tea-infused straight Kentucky bourbon stirred with aromatic bitters and sweet honey, served over rich candy floss.

As guests savour their cutting-edge cocktails alongside the spectacular view, a resident DJ enhances the evening ambience with upbeat South African sounds.

The mezzanine tasting room offers an exceptional introduction to the region’s vineyards, including rare South African wines such as Warwick Trilogy, Meerlust Rubicon and Kanonkop Paul Sauer. The cellar also offers rare and sought after vintages from producers such as Meerlust, Vergelegen, Kanonkop, Warwick, Thelema and Eben Sadies Columella and Palladius.
