Durban's suburb of Pinetown nestles between Kloof and Westville about 10 minutes from the city’s Berea. Pinetown in Durban is home to one of the oldest cricket clubs in KwaZulu-Natal. Pinetown is set at the foot of Field’s Hill which forms part of the annual Comrades Marathon providing easy access to the M13 and other major highways.
Pinetown extends between Caversham Glen and Manors. It was originally established in the mid 19th century around the Wayside Hotel, which was located directly on the wagon route between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

New Germany Nature Reserve
The New Germany Nature Reserve is a small reserve featuring picnic sites, braai areas, wonderful trails and a hide at a waterhole. The New Germany Nature Reserve is home to zebra, nyala, impala, samango monkeys and others as well as a wonderful aviary.
1000 Hills Choo Choo
Trains run from Durban's Kloof Station to and from Inchanga Station along the edge of the spectacular Valley of a Thousand Hills. The Inchanga Station is the location of the famous Inchanga Station Craft Market and numerous food outlets.
