The Rossmund Golf Course, situated in the middle of the Namib Desert, is truly spectacular. The course lies at the dry riverbed of the Swakop Rivier, some 5 kilometres outside of Swakopmund. The fairways are green throughout and are permanently irrigated. Expect to see springbok and numerous birds and even the odd antelope during play. The club house is modern and offers a bar, restaurant and driving range.

Golfing on this 6 068 metre par 72 fully grassed 18-hole golf course in Namibia with its year round quality fairways and slick greens is enormously rewarding.  Many sponsored national and local competitions, as well as large corporate days, are part of the setting. A large floodlighted putting green and an excellent driving range are positioned in front of the lodge.  The clubhouse at the Rossmund Golf Course is a spacious building situated on an elevated ridge with a large sun deck and a panoramic view of the course and the 18th green. It features a bar and lounge, changing room facilities, a restaurant and a conference room. The latter two are ideally available for functions, weddings and conferences.

There is an adequate pro shop in the main clubhouse with most golfing amenities available.  The gardens, both on and off the golf course, are planted with mainly indigenous plants and a few unique, non indigenous plants which are carefully monitored.  The course with surrounds has a large variety of date palms which are staggered along fairways and around greens, all enhancing the spectacular setting.
