Graaff-Reinet is located within the heart of the Great Karoo in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The town is home to a wide array of original Cape Dutch architecture and over 220 heritage sites. Four museums are available for visitors to explore the town's photographic memorabilia, ancient firearms, artworks and fossils. The town is built on the banks of the Sunday's River and as such the industry flourishes around agricultural produce, sheep and ostrich farming.
