Introducing Cape Town

The Cape of Good Hope is sometimes referred to as the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean.  However, according to the International Hydrographic Organization agreement that defines the ocean boundaries, the meeting point of the two great Oceans of the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean is at the Cape Agulhas. 

Cape Agulhas is situated about 200 km to the southeast of the Cape Peninsula in direction towards the Garden Route.The Cape Peninsula in the Western Province of South Africa is a generally rocky peninsula which stretches for 75 km into the Atlantic Ocean at the south-western extremity of the African continent.
