The Palace Hotel at Sun City is surrounded by a 25 hectare botanical jungle. The jungle is threaded with meandering paths, waterfalls, lakes and pools and a variety of water-borne adventure rides which can be found at the Valley of the Waves Waterworld park.

Jogging Trails are provided through the Sun City Resort which are 3 and 5 km in length. The jogging trails are situated around the Lost City and the Gary Player golf courses.
Informative tours of the Palace Hotel are provided which illustrate the history of the Sun City resort and that of the Palace of the Lost City.
At the Palace Pool Deck Restaurant and Snack Bar exotic African cocktails are served under the cool shades of the Pavilion. This area is accessible for residents of the Palace Hotel only.
The Palm Court Lounge at the Palace Hotel is located next to the Villa Del Palazzo restaurant and offers pre and after dinner beverages to its guests.
There are two swimming pools at the Palace Hotel which are the Palace Grand Pool (adjacent to a kiddie’s pool) and the beautiful Royal Bath from which nice views over the entire Sun City Complex can be enjoyed.

The Valley of the Waves Swimming Pool at Sun City: The Valley of Waves is one of the most exciting water theme parks to be found worldwide- from the rolling waves in the wave pool to the steep and exciting water slides plunging down the mountainside. Enjoy a gentle sloping tropical palm-fringed beach. Adventure Mountain is kids’ paradise with waterslides and pools. The Lazy River circles the Food Court where a variety of fast foods are available to satisfy your appetites while having fun in the sun. The Royal Bath at the Palace Hotel is located on the upper side of the Valley of the Waves. This magnificent roman ancient looking swimming pool overlooks the Amphitheatre and is situated at the bottom of the Royal Staircase.
