From the Durban International Airport, travel north and follow N2 Stanger signs for approximately 30 kms to the M41 Umhlanga/Mt Edgecombe turnoff. At traffic lights, turn right over the bridge and continue on M41 for approximately 1 km. Take M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive offramp, turn left at traffic lights and follow M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive for approximately 4 kms, until reaching Umhlanga village. Travel down Lighthouse Road towards the lighthouse. The Oyster Box Hotel is on your right hand side.
From the North Coast KwaZulu-Natal's
Travel along the N2 South. Take the M41 Umhlanga/Mt Edgecombe turnoff. At traffic lights, turn left and continue on M41 for approximately 1 km. Take M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive offramp, turn left at traffic lights and follow M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive for approximately 4 kms, until reaching Umhlanga village. Travel down Lighthouse Road towards the lighthouse. The Oyster Box Hotel is on your right hand side.
From N3 and Johannesburg
From N3 Southbound, travel approximately 2kms past the Pavilion Shopping Centre until you approach the Four Level Interchange 165 (Spaghetti Junction). Take the North Coast N2 Stanger left offramp and travel on the N2 for approximately 15 kms. Take the M41 Umhlanga/Mt Edgecombe turnoff. At traffic lights, turn right over the bridge and continue on M41 for approximately 1 km. Take M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive offramp, turn left at traffic lights and follow M12 Umhlanga Rocks Drive for approximately 4 kms, until reaching Umhlanga village. Travel down Lighthouse Road towards the lighthouse. The Oyster Box is on your right.
