Shakaland, KwaZulu-Natal, Durban’s North Coast The unique Zulu village, Shakaland, has been constructed with authentic 19th century Zulu kraals. Visitors to Shakaland are explained the traditional skills of the Zulu tribe such as hut construction, spear making, brewing of beer, pottery as well as artistic beadwork. Construction of the Shakaland began in 1823.
