Dolphin Coast, KwaZulu-Natal, Durban’s North Coast KwaZulu Natal’s Dolphin Coast starts at Umdloti Beach and stretches north to the Tugela River. The Dolphin Coast includes Tongaat, Ballito, Shaka’s Rock, Umhlali, Salt Rock, Blythdale, Kwa-Dukuza, Zwinkazi Beach and Tugela Mouth. The Dolphin coast is named after the bottlenose dolphins which are found along this particular part of South Africa’s coastline.
