Located on the hotel's second floor, the Beauty Salon at the Wild Coast Sun Resort provides a full range of beauty treatments, pedicures, facials and massages, as well as a sauna and a spa-bath.

The Wild Coast Sun Country Club is a rugged beauty of a course.  Carts are compulsory but this does not detract from the competitive challenge. The Wild Coast golf course may be a daunting challenge for professionals and amateurs alike but its wide fairways and huge greens, attract golfers of all levels.

A first glance at the score card might suggest that this golf course in KwaZulu-Natal is a bit of a push-over - less than 6 000 metres in length with six par threes. On face value this might seem so but in reality the Wild Coast Sun Country Club is one of South Africa's most testing layouts. Indeed renowned American golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jnr has created a dramatic golfing experience overlooking the Ocean.

Possibly the greatest challenge is to conquer the prevailing winds which add an entirely new dimension to the course.
Some of South Africa's finest and certainly most dramatic golf holes can be found here. The thirteenth, a par 3 played across a waterfall is generally regarded the best short hole in the country.And for drama nothing can match the outstanding par 5, twelfth. Here the drive is hit from a high elevated tee to a fairway far below that snakes its way through a valley flanked by a dam and stream on the left with a natural hillock on the right.

The more of the river you take on with your drive the easier the approach to the green - an excellent example of a risk and reward par 5.  In keeping with modern business trends, the Wild Coast has boosted its fleet of carts to 60, with a few in reserve. This will cater for a full field of 120 players at any one time.

The Pro Shop which is located at the Wild Coast Country Club specialises in all golf equipment, the latest golf apparel and a large selection of logo golf wear and accessories are available.

Golfers can have their clubs conveniently stored for them at the Club House whilst not in use and there are also locker room facilities.

The Country Club restaurant offers a great halfway house lunch and the bar has commanding views of the golf course and offers light snacks and drinks.

Practise & Putting Green

A putting green is situated close to the club house and a practice facility is available nearby. Own balls and equipment are essential.

The Wild Coast Sun Resort offers some of the best angling, hiking, diving and of course the magnificent Wild Coast Sun Casino.  The scenery is magnificent and the cultural diversity alone makes the Wild Coast Sun well worth visiting.

Individually crafted sculptural and decorative pieces and unusual domestic ware, displayed in tranquil surroundings. There are quiet a few Craft Markets in the area.

Space Centre

This is an interesting and unique location with an astronomical museum and observatory. Here one can view the constellations of the southern skies in the rustic local surroundings.

Beaver Creak Coffee Farm

Experience the hospitality and excellent coffee offered in the picturesque surrounding of Beaver Creek.  Tours are available showing the intensive process of picking, pulpong, fermenting, washing, drying and roasting of beans.  Bookings are essential.

Nature Reserves and Trails

Umtamvuna Nature Reserve

Here precipitous gorges wind and twist their way through the Natal Group Sandstone to the sea. Tributary streams fed from high ground that supports relics of grassland representing the sole remaining area in southern Africa of Accocks Pondoland Coastal Plateau Sour Veldt. These streams run down from all points in the area into a varied habitat with a diversity of plant species almost unmatched in South Africa. Numerous walks and trails are available from ranging from short half-hour trails to full day 8 hour walks.

Mpenjati Coastal Reserve

This area of pristine coastal beach and river estuary is about 15km from the Wild Coast Sun Resort and offers comfortable but beautiful walks along a section of unspoilt South African coastline.

The Oribi George

This renowned natural area is a one hours drive from the Wild Coast Sun Resort and boasts some of the most dramatic and striking scenery in South Africa. The area is famous for its breathtaking views and features. Both the fauna and flora in the area add to the shear natural beauty of the gorge and surroundings. Hiking, walking and mountain bike trails are available.

There are several shops located at the Wild Coast Sun Resort ranging from sweets, toffees and candy, cigarettes, accessories and magazines to traditional handcrafted local curios, and a selection of other Southern African souvenirs.

Toiletries, newspapers, magazines, postcards, gifts, souvenirs, clothing, beach attire, shoes as well as accessories are also available.
 

The Casino is located within the Wild Coast Sun Resort just off the reception area.  Residents of the Wild Coast Sun hotel are allowed free access to the casino upon presentation of their hotel resident cards.

Games available include Blackjack, Roulette, Slot Machines, Poker Machines and more. Progressive Poker country-wide jackpot is also available.  There are 438 slots machines operating on Smart Cards. Smart Cards are a revolutionary innovation and give players coinless playing time.

The card, having been credited with the amount of money the guest requires, is inserted in the slot machine to be played, and the game begins. Payouts are made on re-presentation of the card to the cashiers.

High Rollers playing in the Plantation room have their own bar and lounge area. The Plantation room is unique in that it has a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. Calypso Bar

The Calypso Bar at the Wild Coast Sun Resort is situated in the main Casino floor and is a walk up bar which provides drinks at special rates.

Kamp Kwena

Specially for the children between the ages 4 and 12, the Kamp Kwena play park at the Wild Coast Sun Resort is located just outside Chico’s restaurant and provides supervised full day activities, including sports events, pony rides, games and activities.

Crèche

Children aged 2 to 6 are entertained at Harry’s Corner – a special supervised activity crèche. The Aloha Village

The Aloha Village day visitor centre is the crowning glory of the Tahitian-style Wild Coast Sun, the premier coastal family resort.  Its 33 metre high dome dominates the skyline. This is the resort for family entertainment and children are inspired by the Aloha Village.

The South Sea island theme is prevalent and the funfair mood is tangible. There is a range of participation and redemption games, funfair-style games and sophisticated video games spread throughout the Village.

There are two floodlit tennis courts at the Wild Coast Sun Resort to which guests have access to.
