Tamodi Lodge and accompanying stables in Plettenberg Bay evolved from the owner's interest in the equestrian way of life and the magnificent Valleys of the Crags, turning this into a luxury bed and breakfast within the Garden Route - an ideal spot for a tranquil holiday set amidst beautiful surroundings.
Tamodi is located within a private nature reserve overlooking an impressive indigenous forest and valley, and the stunning Outeniqua Mountains. A peaceful atmosphere surrounds this charming establishment.
Within the historic architecture, you will feel at home and relaxed. Two extensive lounges and three large indoor fireplaces make a warm and comforting space during the colder winter months.
Whether you choose to sit in the reading room or splash in the pool this space is designed for relaxation during summer.
The Tamodi forms part of a nature conservancy area. It is a working equestrian farm and riding school. Many indigenous bird species make this area home, an ideal spot for bird watching.
