The Falls Resort is situated in the 46-hectare Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Wildlife Park, which fringes the Zambezi River and overlooks the Victoria Falls. The magnificent Victoria Falls are recognised as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Rhino Safari
The Mosi-oa-Tunya Zoological Park is home to white rhino, various antelope, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, beautiful riverine vegetation, and stunning views of the Zambezi River. The safari lasts two-and-a-half-hours and the best times to visit the park are early in the morning or late afternoon when the game is most prolific.
Chobe Botswana
Chobe National Park in Botswana is only an hour by road from Livingstone. This road transfer includes a private boat across the Zambezi River, customs and immigration formalities and a 10-minute drive into Chobe National Park. The safari begins with a cruise on the Chobe River followed by a game drive.
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park – Game Drives and White Rhinos
The Park encompasses the Falls and stretches some 12 kms along the riverbank of the upper Zambezi. White Rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra and several antelope species flourish here. Elephant often visit the park swimming back and forth across the river.
Game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles with a knowledgeable guide set off in the morning and afternoon from the Day Activity Centre and last about 3 hours. The early morning drive begins at 06:30 and the mid morning drive begins at 09.45. The drives include park entrance fees, tea, coffee and pastries. The afternoon drive begins at 15.00 and includes park entrance fees, soft drinks, beer and pastries.
Elephant Back Safari
Guests can ride with their guides through the beautiful riverine scenery, a unique experience to interact with this magnificent animal and understand its intelligence and willingness to act under instruction. The ride is approximately one hour, the interaction time spent with the elephants approximately three hours.
Horse Trail Safari
One of the finest ways to experience the bush is on horseback. All rides are led by experienced riders/guides and all riding abilities are catered for. Duration is an hour and a half, minimum age 12 years.

Kamp Kwena Children's Camp at the Falls Resort, Zambia
Kamp Kwena, which is every child's idea of holiday heaven, is situated close to The Zambezi Sun Hotel, giving parents plenty of free time to discover all the area's attractions. Children enjoy a varied range of activities that include full day or half day excursions to places of interest, daily fun and games and nature walks.
This supervised haven is available to children from 2 - 12 years of age. Children between the ages of 2 - 4 must be accompanied by an adult, or babysitter (available at an extra cost), if they are not potty-trained. Babysitters can be arranged through your hotel and are also available during the evening.
Staff are specially selected and undergo extensive training in child-care and first aid, ensuring that the child and the parent feel protected and secure.

Seats 450 delegates theatre style and 340 in the schoolroom configuration. It seats 360 for a banquet, which can be catered from the fully equipped kitchen at the centre.

At the Zambezi Sun behind the reception– the Kafue & Luangwa seating 10 and 12 delegates respectively.
The Tonga & Lozi
Situated close to the Day Activity Centre just before Squires Loft. Each of these venues seats 40 delegates cinema style and 30 delegates schoolroom style.
Business Centre & Internet Café
The Zambezi Sun has a business centre situated behind the reception, next to Livingstone Trading Shop. Offering guests faxing, printing and internet services. The Royal Livingstone Internet café is next to the Tiger’s Eye Shop behind reception offers internet services.
The Mukuni Boma
An authentic Boma, crafted in traditional Zambian manner, accommodates a minimum of 60 and maximum of 300 people for an unforgettable evening under Crystal African Skies. The Boma is located within the Falls Resort, accessible by foot from both Hotels.
Traditional entertainment from the Marimba Band to Acrobats, Traditional Beer Brewers to the Sangoma is available on request at an additional cost.

The David Livingstone Boma
Completed in January 2003 by members from Mukuni Village, The David Livingstone Boma is situated alongside the Mukuni Boma on the banks of the river, overlooking the Zambezi River & Victoria Falls. This venue offers a private boma experience to groups’ minimum of 20 and maximum of 100 people, with traditional African fare prepared on open coal the fires.
