The conference facilities at the 3 star Protea Hotel Stellenbosch can accommodate up to 700 delegates in 10 different conferencing venues alternatively. With a ceiling height of 4.5m, this adds significant height and volume to the conference rooms.

The first floor Magnifica Suite can either be booked as one venue catering for up to 250 Banquet style, 400 Cinema and 250 Schoolroom. This conference venue can also be divided and booked into 3 separate venues, accommodating up to 120 guests each.

The second floor at the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch features two conference facilities, either of which can be booked as one venue, catering for up 160 Banquet style, 200 Cinema and 120 Schoolroom. This room can also be divided and booked as 2 separate venues.

The hotel's Boardroom can seat 16 delegates and provides a balcony overlooking the De Zalze and Blaauwklippen vineyards, this venue is ideal for small meetings.

The Aristata extension has been added onto the existing Aristata restaurant, thus making the area available for both conferencing, banquet and breakfast presentations, for 80 to 120 guests.

The Black Bull Restaurant is also available for conference bookings during the day and can accommodate 30 delegates in a U-shape, 40 delegates in Schoolroom style and 50 guests in Cinema-or Cocktail style. From Cape Town - On the N2 (to Airport):

• Take the R44 turnoff in the direction of Stellenbosch.
• Follow the road for approximately 14 km until you get to the set of traffic lights with the Stellenbosch Square Mall on your right hand side and the De Zalze Estate on your right.
• Continue to the next set of Traffic lights for the Technopark turn off on the left
• Continue 1Km up the road. Protea Hotel Stellenbosch is situated on top of the hill

From Cape Town - On the N1 (to Paarl):

• Take the Stellenbosch and Klipheuwel turn off on your left
• At the T- junction, turn right.
• Continue for approximately 15 min, past the 1st set of traffic lights at Khayamandi, past the 2nd set and at the 3rd set of traffic lights, turn right onto the R44.
• Continue past the Parmalat and Medi Clinic offices on your left, after which you will get a set of traffic lights with a garage to the left.
• Continue over till you get to the next set of traffic lights.
• Turn right at these traffic lights into Techno Park.
