The comfortable Leisure Isle Lodge is on a tiny island set in the vast Knysna Lagoon which is connected to the mainland by a narrow road, resulting in a unique haven of peace and tranquillity.

The Leisure Isle Hotel Knysna is an award-winning retreat offering luxury, sophisticated elegance in a quiet area of Knysna along South Africa's lush Garden Route.

Home to an art gallery, some fine dining establishments, a small boat harbour and a nature reserve teeming with birdlife, it is also ideally positioned less than 10 minutes from Knysna centre, allowing guests of the lodge to take full advantage of all the activities the town has to offer.

As a boutique escape, there are just eleven spacious, well-appointed and individually decorated rooms. Each en-suite room features views of the lagoon or garden and swimming pool.

Daniela's Restaurant at the Leisure Isle offers an elegant and intimate space with well-appointed tables and a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can choose to enjoy their meals either in the airy dining area or on the deck overlooking the lagoon. The restaurant offers a la carte menu a carefully selected wine list.

The tranquil, privately-run Skin Renewal Spa is run by highly trained therapists. This private facility utilises Dermalogica and Danne products and offers a vast range of treatments including facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures amongst others.
