The Glenburn Lodge Country Estate in the Cradle of Humankind a world heritage site, just 55 min drive north of Johannesburg.

The Muldersdrift Lodge is a three-star facility offering a broad range of accommodation and function venues surrounded by mountains, rivers, and Bush. This hotel also offers guests country-style accommodation, various conference and function facilities and a complete team-building experience in the Gauteng province.

Long Sunday lunches are with their famous oxtail and lamb shank dishes. It is an attractive eating option for locals with families driving out to enjoy good food and live music. Often also enjoys a stroll on one of the walking trails up the mountain.

Besides the Cradle of Humankind, guests can visit the famous Sterkfontein Caves where the complete skull was found, pop into the nearby Rhino and Lion Reserve, watch skilled glassblowers and candle makers at the Ngwenya village, take a trip on a hot - air balloon or visit Gilroy's Brewery for a lesson in the brewing process and tasting.

The venue is famous both for significant social occasions as well as being a popular choice for the range of conference packages they offer. The lodge can accommodate private dinner functions for special occasions in its wine cellar and has a sizeable drop-down screen in the Lairds Bar for those not-to-be-missed sports events.

There are fourteen venues in the conference centre, with the largest able to accommodate 300 delegates at a time. Conference packages can be tailored to suit numbers and needs but always include nice tea breaks, soup, and hot chocolate in winter and the continuous supply of popcorn to snack on during sessions.
