The Falcons View Manor Guest House is ideally situated in the centre of the Garden Route in Knysna, Western Province South Africa. Knysna itself is located on the N2 between Cape Town (500km) and Port Elizabeth (260km).

Accommodation at the Falcons View Manor, Knysna
Falcons View Manor feartures three different room types, either with lagoon, garden or forest views. Every room in the Falcons View Manor is completely different, creating an individualistic energy with an artistic feel. The rooms each have a specific charm and were decorated accordingly. Combined with elegant and luxurious decor are everyday mod-cons, including Digital Satellite TV, mini safes, tea and coffee stations and hair dryers in the bathrooms.
Manor Double
Located on the first floor, these rooms are approximately 28 square metres, with lovely forest or garden views. The smaller, but well-appointed bathrooms feature showers only and are non smoking rooms.
Manor Superior
Located on the first floor, these non-smoking rooms average 35 square metres in size. The bathrooms are luxurious with a choice of amenities - double shower, bath only or bath and shower. They all include a bidet.
Garden Superior
These 45 square metre rooms are set in the magnificent gardens at Falcons View Manor. The design style has a distinctly African feel, with all three suites being identical, while each has its own private terrace, air-conditioning, a minibar and private access. The bathrooms are fitted with both a shower and bath (no bidet). Smoking on the terrace only.
Facilities at the Falcons View Manor Guest House, Knysna
The Falcons View Manor Guest House offers two lounges with beautiful views acress the Knysna lagoon. The formal library at the Manor features comfortable couches upon which to while away lazy days with a fantastic book or to catch up on daily news.
The Loerie Lounge is the only room at Falcons View where smoking is allowed. Bright and airy, it invites guests into its warm and freshly decorated ambience.
The Bar at Falcons View opens out onto the terrace with its spectacular views over Knysna and the lagoon. The extravagant Dining Room at Falcons View Manor serves gourmet meals which can be savored.

Access via the airports at George and Plettenberg Bay offer a range of flight options. Falcons View Manor is situated above the N2.

- Take N2 toward Port Elizabeth into Knysna
- Turn LEFT at 3rd traffic lights into LONG STREET
- Drive to the end and at the T-Junction, turn LEFT into HILL STREET
- Turn RIGHT into THESEN HILL and immediately ahead is Falcons View Manor
From Port Elizabeth/Plettenberg Bay
- Take N2 into Knysna
- At 4th traffic lights, turn RIGHT into LONG STREET
- Drive to the end and at the T-Junction, turn LEFT into HILL STREET
- Turn RIGHT into THESEN HILL and immediately ahead is Falcons View Manor

All rooms in the Manor House at Falcons View Manor are different and unique. Each one of them has got an individual design which a gracious Victorian House deserves.
The Garden Superior Rooms are located in the Coach House. All rooms and public areas in the house are non smoking, but smoking is permitted on the terrace, on the Veranda and in the garden.

Manor Single Rooms
Upper level of the Manor, elegantly furnished standard size room (26sqm) with en suite small bathroom with shower. These rooms have queen beds, these are recommended for single occupancy. Lovely garden views from room 7, forest views from room 6.
Manor Twin Rooms
Upper level of the Manor, elegantly furnished standard size room (30sqm) with en suite small bathroom with shower. This room has two three-quarter beds which can also be made up as a King on request. Lovely garden views.
Manor Superior
On the upper level of the Manor, elegantly furnished and spacious rooms (35 sqm) with large en suite bathrooms featuring separate shower and/or bath. They all include a bidet. Room 4 & 5 are lagoon facing (Room 5 with two three-quarter beds that can be made up as King) and room 8 has a lovely garden view.

Manor Superior Room
The Manor Superior Rooms (ca. 35 m²) are situated on the upper level of the Manor. The rooms and public areas in the house are non smoking, but smoking is permitted on the terrace, on the Veranda and in the garden.
Garden Superior Room
Situated in the Coach House (close to the Manor building, ca. 20m distance), this spacious bedroom (45sqm) has vaulted ceilings and opens onto a private terrace with sun loungers, overlooking the gardens. Bathrooms are large with separate shower & bath plus separate toilet facilities (no bidet). These rooms have a Minibar. Smoking on the terrace only.
Restaurants
The small in house restaurant serves delicious meals for lunch and dinner in the stylish dining room or in the Tea Garden. The menu is small, everything is freshly prepared and daily specials compliment the “old favourites”. The wine list offers a wide variety of South African wines.

The garden at the Falcons View Manor in Knysna provides a tranquil retreat for guests. Flanked on the one side by natural indigenous forest it is home to abundant bird life and even the occasional vervet monkeys.
The swimming pool is surrounded by manicured lawn, lush plants and trees. A perfect setting for poolside cocktails and soaking up the Garden Route sun.

Knysna's magnificent coastline offers visitors endless opportunites to explore its natural beauty. Brenton-on-Sea, Buffalo Bay, Bollard Bay on Leisure Isle, Coney Glenn and estuary at Noetzie provide swimming, fishing, surfing and sunbathing.
The Indian Ocean make for pleasant sea temperatures in the summer months. Tides can be strong though, and bathers should take care with strong currents at specific beaches.
