Das City Lodge V&A Waterfront Hotel ist zentral gelegen, quasi als Tor zu der lebhaften und dynamischen V&A Waterfront (Hafenviertel) von Kapstadt. Vom Hotel aus ist das CBD von Kapstadt leicht zu Fuß erreichbar, die Autobahn N2 ist nicht weit und der internationale Flughafen Kapstadt ist ca. 15 Minuten (per Auto) entfernt.
Das ganze Hotel ist in seiner Anlage vom Thema "Schifffahrt" bestimmt, und es gibt einen Whirlpool, in dem sich die Gäste bei dem warmen Wetter, das in Kapstadt herrscht, wunderbar erholen können. In der letzten Zeit ist das Hotel komplett renoviert und verschönert worden, so dass es jetzt unter anderem 44 zusätzliche Zimmer sowie einen Fitnessraum und ein Internetcafé gibt.
Das ganze City Lodge Hotel ist in seiner Anlage und Dekoration ganz vom Thema "Schifffahrt" bestimmt; der hoteleigene Swimmingpool bietet den Gästen bei dem warmen Wetter Kapstadts herrliche Erholung.
Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Hier kann man sich wunderbar erholen, während man in der Wanne liegt, oder man nimmt eine erfrischende Dusche und überlegt sich dabei, wo man an diesem Abend speisen möchte.

Staff was very helpful and hotel has good location between the V&A Waterfront and the city centre. We enjoyed making use of the small heated pool and gym at the hotel.
The hotel rooms are a bit outdated and could use a refreshment. But all was available what we needed for our stay.

Breakfast is very good at the City Lodge Waterfront. Rooms are clean and service is good.
The position is fantastic, but not for the view, but because you can easily and safely walk to the Waterfront. The hotel itself is a standard hotel, good but a bit bland.
To choose a room at the back of the hotel is better as it is a lot less noisy.

Good hotel with central location near Cape Town city centre and Waterfront. We enjoyed the nice breakfast. No dinners are available. Not too far away from the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC). Good hotel for leisure and business.
Note: this hotel is NOT located at the actual V&A Waterfront, but one can walk to it within about 15 - 20 minutes.
