- If the Mugg & Bean is on your right, walk in the direction of Terminal A past Woolworths.
- When you reach the large central atrium with International arrivals below, turn left and walk up the ramp towards Parking
- Continue up the ramp walking to the left of the pillars (escalators will be on your right) and walk all the way to the end of the corridor. There will be lifts to your right.
- The two lifts on the left with wood panelling will take you to the City Lodge OR Tambo.
- From International arrivals take the escalators heading in the direction of Terminal B.
- Turn left at the top of the escalators on the level of Woolworths and Markhams.
- Turn left again and head up the ramp towards Parking 2.
- Continue up the ramp walking to the left of the pillars (escalators will be on your right) and walk all the way to the end of the corridor. There will be lifts to your right.
- The two lifts on the left with wood panelling will take you to the City Lodge OR Tambo.

We stayed at the City Lodge, OR Tambo for 1 night on 21st December 2011 following our flights from the UK and late arrival in South Africa. It is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel but will not be our last! The staff at the hotel, in reception, restaurant and bar are very welcoming and friendly. Service is very good. The atmosphere is extremely calming after travelling for nearly 20 hours and we enjoy a brief, relaxing beer by the pool on our arrival prior to going to bed.

1. Location: excellent location, and well sign-posted
2. Friendliness: good; overall very friendly in all areas - reception, restaurant, porter. However, our room key card wasn't activated properly, and we had to return to reception three times before it would open our room door. Reception staff expected us to wait at the back of the queue (which was very long) each time we returned, even though we had already stood in the long queue to initially check-in.
3. Value for money: good; hotel was very expensive, however it was handy not having to leave the airport to travel to the hotel. Was good that hotel included breakfast in rate, however there were very limited breakfast choices available.
4. Cleanliness: excellent
5. Overall impression: a very good hotel, which we would recommend.
