The Cabanas Hotel is one of the 4 hotels situated in the Sun City Resort in South Africa's North West Province adjacent to the Pilanesberg National Park. Waterworld at Sun City
Enjoy the excitement of parachuting, the thrill of water sports and parasailing as well as water-skiing and wake boarding. Ride a wave on a jet ski. Steam Train Rides 'Stimela'
Train ride that goes passed the Cabanas Aviary and over a small part of the Waterworld lake observe the Impala, Ostrich, Nyala which live in this tranquillity world.
Kamp Kwena Fort - Children's programme
An active fun-filled children's programme for ages 4 - 12 years invites children. This is a great way to meet new friends and have fun doing playful and exciting things. There are two sessions daily, mornings and afternoons.
Valley of the Waves
The Valley of Waves is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon, a 6 500-square metre (7560-square yards) wave pool with a palm-fringed beach. Hydraulic mechanisms can generate a 1,8 metre (6 feet 8 inches) wave every 90 seconds. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern.

The Welcome Centre is located at the entrance to the Entertainment Centre of the Sun City Resort. It offers services ranging from booking and confirming bus tickets, flights, car hire, game drives and all other adventure activities. Computicket is also located here for theatre, cinema and concert tickets.
The Valley of Waves waterpark is the central feature of the magnificent Sun City Resort in the North West Province, South Africa. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon, a wave pool with a palm-fringed beach.
All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Day visitors pay an entrance fee to the park.

This is an 18 hole, par 72 walking course, with a 5km running trail along the course. The Gary Player Country Club incorporates a Pro Shop, a health spa and gymnasium, two squash courts and a spinning studio.
The Lost City Golf Country Club and Golf Course
The state-of-the-art clubhouse is a short walk from The Palace of the Lost City. The Lost City Golf Course was also designed by famed South African golfing figure, Gary Player. This spectacular par-72 course is a cart course, features a water hazard of 20 live Nile crocodiles on the 13th hole and offers facilities such as a driving range, and golf Pro Shop.

This venue at the Cabanas Hotel at the Sun City Resort is ideal for planning meetings and can accommodate up to 12 people.
The Palm Terrace
This restaurant consist of an A, B and C station. The restaurant has an area that is not covered. The maximum number of people the venue can accommodate is 500. The C-station is often privatized for groups. Maximum capacity under cover is 180 people.
The Waterworld Picnic Lawn
This venue is situated on the larger part of the lawn in front of the luxury rooms and adjacent to the mini golf. Groups can enjoy a picnic lunch and and this venue can accommodate up to 600 people.
The Lake Side Picnic Lawn
This venue is situated on the smaller part of the lawn in front of the standard rooms and adjacent to where they launch the parasailing. Groups can enjoy a picnic lunch and the venue can accommodate up to 200 people.

The Entertainment Centre
The Hall of Treasures in the Entertainment Centre has two areas separated by three shallow steps and Magical Rock Garden. It can accommodate a cocktail function of up to 700.
The Pilanesberg Room in the Entertainment Centre can accommodate up to 800 for cocktails or 600 for a banquet at round tables. The room may also be sub-divided in two.
On the promenade level of the Entertainment Centre is the Royal Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 1,200 in conference style seating, or 800 for a banquet at round tables.
There are 13 breakaway rooms at the Entertainment Centre, which can accommodate from 10 to 90 people.
The Sun City Entertainment Centre is also home to the Superbowl, one of Southern Africa’s finest venues for sports, entertainment and product launches. This indoor venue, which can seat 6 855 people for a show or handle up to 10 500 with a standing configuration downstairs, it boasts some of the most modern lighting and sound facilities in Africa.
The Sun City Hotel
The Baobab, Acacia and Jacaranda conference rooms at Sun City Hotel are sub-divisible and may accommodate up to 650 delegates for cocktails or 360 in a conference-style arrangement.
The Letsatsi Conference Centre (Old Media Centre) is one of the best in Africa for its modern facilities and meeting rooms. Located on the ground level of Sun City Hotel, it has its own reception, auditorium, boardrooms and conference rooms. The centre can accommodate your every requirement, as it has network points for computers and telephone lines.
The Cascades Hotel
The 2nd Floor Boardroom at the five star Cascades Hotel at the Sun City Resort can accommodate up to 8 people. The 4th Floor Boardroom can accommodate up to 20 people around the room but 10 people around the table.
The Palace Hotel
The Baobab Outlook, situated behind the Palace Pool Deck, is an ideal outdoor venue that has a great view and can be used for many different types of events! The venue can accommodate 110 for seated dinner with a buffet set up and 150 for cocktail set up.
The Royal Chambers at The Palace is a double volume area, which can accommodate 80 for a banquet and 120 in conference style seating. The Council Room is a boardroom, which can seat 14. This venue is located in the Palace. The Protea and Orchid meeting rooms can accommodate up to 80 people each in cinema style seating. The Palace Business Centre Boardroom seats up to 10 people and can be booked for private meetings.
The Wind Chime Wedding Chapel is situated on the Baobab Trail in the Lost City gardens, adjacent to the Lost City Golf Course against the back drop of rugged hills and the dramatic architecture of The Palace of the Lost City. The bride will walk a pebbled lane to an enchanting African bush chapel to join her groom and recite their vows.
Resort Outdoor venues
Botsalanong Boma and Letsatsing Boma are two unique open-air African banqueting venues, which with a huge bonfire and African dancers make it an unforgettable experience under the stars for all. The Letsatsing Boma offers a unique dining experience - the African way. This includes welcome drinks, a scrumptious African barbecue, full cash bar, marshmallow toasting and cultural dancers to entertain.
The Elephant Wallow is situated at the Letsatsing Game Park, a large thatched venue overlooking a magnificent waterhole catering for up to 65 guests under thatch. Bush dinners and lunch barbeques can be taken with the Elephants themselves providing the main attraction.
The Cultural Village is situated near the entrance to Sun City Resort, and caters for groups up to 80 people sitting. It is a village-style boma ideal for cultural themed evenings.
Try the traditional township restaurant and bar which is open daily until late. The Shebeen can be privatised for any of group bookings.
