The luxurious five star Beaumont House Boutique Guest Lodge is located on Primrose Avenue in Upper Claremont, which is one of Cape Town's exclusive suburbs in South Africa. This five star boutique hotel uniquely combines the contemporary glamour of a penthouse apartment with the spacious, understated elegance of a fine country home. The Beaumont House  features five suites, which range in size from 28 square meters (Luxury Suites) to the more spacious Premier Suites, which are up to 45 square meters in size. The boutique guest lodge offers the discerning visitor an indulgent and sumptuous experience.

The Beaumont House boasts beautiful architecture and classic antiques, combined with fresh, light and contemporary designs. Guests are welcome to relax on the sofas, choose their music or perhaps read a book in the extensive library. With wall-to-wall windows drawn back, guests can enjoy the calming atmosphere of the floodlit gardens before venturing out to one of the many award-winning restaurants, which are within close distance of the Beaumont House.

Overlooking the swimming pool and sundecks at the Beaumont House is the Dining Room, where guests are invited to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. Adjacent to the Dining Room one can find the Bar. Guests are welcome to leaf through the guide books and reference works on all that is available to the visitor to Cape Town.

Accommodation

The Beaumont House provides three premier suites and two luxury suites, each of which is individually decorated within the theme of sophistication and understated elegance. The Premier suites at the Beaumont House offer a private balcony or a covered patio.

All the guest rooms at the Beaumont House have air-conditioning, underfloor heating, satellite TV, DVD player, bar fridge, safe, bath with separate walk-in shower and free wi-fi internet access.

The Mountain Suite

The Mountain Suite on the first floor of the main house directly faces Table Mountain. The French doors reveal an extensive private balcony on which one can relax. The elegant king size bed stands proud on the gleaming original parquet floor, surrounded by exclusive furniture. This suite features twin basins, separate bath and walk in shower. The total size of this suite is 36 square meters and a balcony of 29 square meters.

The Bay Suite

The Bay Suite at The Beaumont Boutique Hotel in Claremont is situated on the first floor. From the palm fringed windows the guest can expect stunning views towards False Bay and the Kalk Bay mountains. The bathroom of the Bay Suite comprises single basin with separate bath and walk in shower. The total size of this suite is 28 square meters.

Pool Suites

The Pool Suite and the Garden Suite at The Beaumont House are accessed by their own pathway, bordered by the stunning gardens. Both suites open onto the large freshwater swimming pool of this boutique hotel, which is surrounded by shady trees, and the tinkling of water features. Each suite features its own private covered patio. The bathroom has two extra large basins, a double walk in shower and a separate large bath. The total size of the suite is 43 square meters with the patio measuring 8 square meters.

The Beaumont Suite

The Beaumont Suite is located on the ground floor of the main house. It boasts its own original marble fireplace and luxurious king size bed. The spacious bathroom has two extra large basins, a double walk in shower and an oversize bath. The total size of this suite is 48 square meters.

Directions to the Beaumont House

From the Cape Town International Airport, take the N2, signposted for Cape Town. Follow the M3 signposted for Muizenberg (not the M5). After a set of traffic lights, where there is a turn right sign for Kirstenbosch Gardens, take the left branch for Claremont, just past a Shell garage. At a traffic circle, continue straight ahead into Newlands Road (M152).

Take the right fork, signposted Muizenberg, into Herschel Walk. Take the second right into Torquay Avenue and immediately left into Primrose Avenue. Beaumont House is 50m down on the left hand side.
