The Ballroom is ideal for large conferences, product launches or presentations which can accommodate up to 200 delegates. For smaller groups, the Courtyard Room holds up to 80 guests while the Amber Terrace can seat 24 guests. The Belvedere venue at Asara can accommodate between 8 and 30 guests. Sansibar offers cocktails on the terrace and light meals, but is primarily a Cigar & Whisky Lounge. Guests may request the beverage list, which is the most comprehensive of its kind in the Western Cape, if not in South Africa, where pages of single-malt whiskies, fine imported cognacs and hand-rolled cigars are featured.
The Wine Bar
The Wine Bar at Asara provides even the most assured wine connoisseur with a challenge. Asara Deli
Guests choosing the Asara Deli may savour a macaroon and some of Asara's finest handcrafted chocolates while enjoying a steaming cappuccino in cooler weather. The Asara Deli also provides freshly baked breads, cakes, pastries, biscuits, jams and even potted herbs.

Wines of the Asara Estate, Stellenbosch
With a production of approximately 65% red and 35% white wines, led by the flagship Bell Tower Collection, all of the wines are grown, matured and bottled on the Asara Wine Estate, with 102ha under vine. The entire range of wines offers exuberant structure and taste, perfectly balanced with undeniable depth, allowing for a celebration of the senses which is echoed in the beauty of the Stellenbosch countryside and the sensitivity of Asara’s service.
Francois Joubert is Asara’s winemaker. The innovations made to the now larger facility for barrel maturation allow the control of cooling and humidity, which in turn assists a softer handling of the grapes. With passion and skill Asara’s fruit is transformed into the exquisite wines appreciated by wine lovers across the world.
The Wine Cellar at the Asara Estate
The stately Asara wine cellar is located in the old manor house. In stark contrast to its historic origins, the tradition of the old ways meet the efficiency of the modern method, with both open wooden fermenters from France and contemporary stainless steel ones.
Lovingly created with great skill and care, Asara’s wines are some of the finest in the world. Made to please both the everyday wine drinker and the connoisseur, the influence of Nature in the final product assures its drinker of something very unique.
The Tasting Room at Asara
The Wine Bar can be found in a setting unrivalled for its beauty. Here, guests can spend hours in the sunlight tasting award-winning wines, listening to birdsong. Wine tastings are conducted in The Wine Bar, a rustic setting that is social, but always offers a cosy table somewhere in the corner. Tasting experiences include basic tastings, blind tastings and tastings using tinted wineglasses. Professional tastings in the Vinoteque are also available on request. For the visitor's convenience, wine can be purchased from the Asara cellar and delivered nationwide.

Location
The Asara Wine Estate & Hotel is situated on the Polkadraai Road (M12) in Stellenbosch, just 20 minutes from the Cape Town International Airport and close to the motorways for easy access to the City.
From N2 / Cape Town International Airport:
Travel along the N2 from Cape Town to Stellenbosch and take exit 33 (Baden Powell & Stellenbosch) on the left. Shortly after taking this turn off you will reach a Stop sign - turn left onto the R 310 here. Travel along this road (you will pass Vlaeberg Road on your left and Annandale Road and Spier on your right) until you come to a T-junction. Turn right towards Stellenbosch (still on the R 310). Shortly hereafter, you will find the gates to Asara Wine Estate on your left hand side.
From N1:
Travelling from Cape Town to Paarl on the N1, take exit 39 to left. Shortly hereafter you will reach a Stop street - turn right here onto the R 304. Travel straight along this road, past Kyamandi and into Stellenbosch, until you reach a set of traffic lights and a sign on the left that reads: Strand (R44) and Kuilsrivier (R310) with an arrow to the right. Turn right at this set of Traffic Lights onto Adam Tas Road (Volkswagen dealer on the right and Seven Eleven and Eikestad Motors on the left). Continue along that road for 1.4 km and you will find a sign that reads: Kuilsrivier and Kaapstad R310. Turn right at this sign and continue along this road for 4km. The gates to Asara Wine Estate will be on you right hand side.
