Interior decor to match the South African landscapes, yet views to outstrip any work-of-art. Perfect for whale spotting with direct access to the scenic Cliff Path that makes Hermanus the land-based Southern Right Whale watching capital of the World during the winter and spring seasons.

Luxury Garden Room
The Ground Level Garden facing room has a private patio with a sitting area, designed for you to enjoy your tea and coffee while admiring the garden. An ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, with complimentary amenities, a hairdryer, towels provided and ceiling fan for those hot summer evenings. Wifi is provided throughout the lodge.

Dream of watching wales splashing in the waves whilst drinking coffee in your extra long double-bed? This is the room you need! Relax in the freestanding bath, Calming colours, influenced by the local South African landscapes will make you feel relaxed and refreshed.

Hermanus is a leisurely hour and a half drive from Cape Town.
From Cape Town (CPT International Airport)
Take the N2 East towards the Garden Route, over Sir Lowry's pass, past Grabauw / Elgin for about 85km. There are many farm stalls worth a visit on the route. Then take the R43 turnoff to Hermanus. Once in Hermanus follow signs towards the town centre, Abalone Guest Lodge is on the right by the tourist sign to Sievers Point.
From the Garden Route N2 and Swellendam
Turn left off the N2 onto the R326, proceed through Stanford (R43) to Hermanus (76km from the N2) Once in Hermanus through the centre the lodge is on the left by Sievers Point sign,
Scenic Route from Cape Town + Airport
Take the N2 to Somerset West; turn off to Gordon’s Bay and along the R44. Route 44 will take you along the most beautiful coastline in the world - approximately 80km of breathtaking views, this route is recommended for the views during daylight hours.
Once in Hermanus follow signs towards the town centre, Abalone Guest Lodge is on the right, just passed Mossel River Drive, by the tourist sign to Sievers Point.
On site parking facilities are provided for guests.
