The Shamwari Game Reserve which forms part of the Mantis Collection of Hotels and Game Lodges in South Africa, is situated in the bush along the Bushmans River, halfway between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown forming a natural extension to the famous Garden Route. The Shamwari Game Reserve is about conserving a vanishing way of life. The Bayethe Lodge is a 5-star, luxury lodge comprising of 9-tented suites which makes for a real African adventure. A magnificent bushveld-type lodge made of stonewalls and thatch, accommodates the lounge, dining room, an outdoor banquet boma, swimming pool and viewing deck. The magnificent stone and thatch at Eagles Crag, with its own wellness centre offers nine detached suites, each with private deck and plunge pool.
