The Castle on the Cliff was built in the early 1960s on a wild and dramatic sea cliff. The Castle on the Cliff is located on one of the most beautiful private properties in South Africa near the Robberg in Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route.
The Castle on the Cliff in Plettenberg Bay looks out over kilometres of private coastline, and to secure its privacy, the large estate by which it is surrounded by is a nature reserve. The entire Castle is available for the exclusive use of a maximum group of eight guests, by prior arrangement ten guests can be accommodated.
The Castle features four double suites all of which provide magnificent views. Futhermore, it also has a bedroom with two single beds and a separate bathroom. The Castle on the Cliff is available on a staffed, self-catering basis whereby the breakfast is included. Various extra services including full catering is available by arrangement.
The Castle on the Cliff in Plettenberg Bay has been decorated in a casual, comfortable and relaxed way. Cushions are laid out every day on the palisaded clifftop terraces, inviting guests to sunbathe listening to the waves breaking below.
