Spectacular solar eclipse at Azura Quilalea Private Island, Mozambique
Be a guest at the luxurious, oceanfront Azura Quilalea Private Island in Mozambique, Southern Africa, to witness the annular solar eclipse! The moon, earth and sun are aligning for a fantastic show. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the moon eclipses the sun, but is at its furthest from earth. The moon does not cover the entire sun, leaving a ‘ring of fire’.
On 1 September 2016, the solar eclipse will pass over the remote Quirimbas Archipelago in the North of Mozambique. The five star Azura Quilalea Private Island will be in the centre line of the moon’s shadow providing the perfect place to experience this once in a lifetime event! This natural event will not occur again in the Quirimbas for another 84 years.
Also observe the conjunction of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and the moon between 27 August and 3 September while Mars and Saturn are overhead in Scorpious. All 5 visible planets observable simultaneously. Expert Johan Strydom of Lethabo Adventures will be joining us at Azura Quilalea over this period to explain the actual event that is taking place.
Experience an unforgettable getaway in Mozambique! It would be our pleasure to assist you with your travel arrangements at best available rates.
