• Bon Courage
• De Wetshof
• Goedverwagt
• Robertson Winery
• Springfield Estate
• Van Loveren

Join us for lunch, bring a copy of this newsletter with you and we’ll deduct 20% from your food bill when you select a Robertson Valley wine to accompany your meal.

Recipe of the Month:
PRAWNS PORTUGUESE STYLE – Serves 4

24 large prawns, de-veined and butterflied
20 ml lemon juice
10gm salt
5 whole Piri Piri, finely chopped
25 ml olive oil
Make the paste with Lemon Juice, Salt, Piri Piri, Garlic and Olive oil. Press the paste into the back of each prawn and close. Allow to marinade for at least 2 hours.
Grill the prawns over moderate coals, basting with the remaining marinade. Serve with Garlic Sauce.

125gm Butter
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 whole Piri Piri, chopped
1 bay leaf
30 ml lemon juice

Melt the butter in small saucepan, add all the other ingredients except the lemon juice, bring to boil. Remove from the heat, add the lemon juice and mix well.

The prawns can also be shallow fried, but in Roberto’s opinion, grilled tastes better!

Wine Tasting: every Friday evening
Join the hotel for a complimentary wine tasting on the deck of Azure. The Sommelier, Luvo, will host and offer expert advice on some fantastic wines to enjoy with your dinner:

7th October – Constantia Uitsig
14th October – Amani Vineyards
21st October – Sommeliers Selection
28th October – Flagstone Winery
Who knows you may even get to do some whale watching at the same time!

Whiskey Tasting & Dinner:
The 2005 Live Whisky festival takes place at the CTICC between 26th and 28th October. To mark this event 12A will be hosting an “extra special” whisky menu. Roberto has created a sumptuous menu featuring some classic ingredients such as Irish smoked salmon and oven roasted springbok.
