A trained guide will take you on a cycling safari through a picturesque game farm. Many animals are viewed from the saddle because the animals don’t find the bicycles threatening. We are situated in the Dinokeng Nature Reserve, a mere 40km North of Pretoria. This is an area rich in wildlife and saturated in cultural history. We cater for cycling enthusiasts, day-trippers and anybody else who would like to spend a fantastic day in the African bushveld.

The Dinokeng Nature Reserve is a project that has incorporated many local game farms into one large 125 000 hectare nature reserve. The pristine savannah has always been rich in fauna and flora and is now being restored to its original abundance.

The Dinokeng destination, covering over 200 000 hectares offers you a variety of experiences, making a trip there interesting and worthwhile. It includes the Roodeplaat and Rust de Winter dam areas, as well as the towns of Cullinan, Rayton, Hammanskraal, Moloto and Refilwe. There are over 275 tourist attractions across Dinokeng, each with its own character and offerings. Whether you are there for the day, a weekend or longer, you will be able to have a full and exciting experience in Dinokeng, and you will leave wanting to return to sample new experiences or to re-sample those you have already enjoyed.

The name Dinokeng - a place of rivers - is derived from the languages of the Batswana and Bapedi who traditionally made this region their home. Dinokeng lies in the catchment area of the Olifants and Limpopo Rivers - which means, according to some African cultures, that this is a sacred place with healing powers.
